Comparison of Sam's collars
Sam's current collar is the same one he's had since we brought him home in March. It started out on the smallest setting, and now it's been loosened up to the longest setting. Soon it won't fit at all, so I took Sam to PetsMart with me today to get him a new collar and let him pick out a new toy. Sam picked out a fleece pull toy (last time he was in he picked out a fleece ball; he seems to like fleece) and I got him a matching collar and longer leash in the same burnt orange color of his current one.

Fun fact: Sam's collar/leash was originally going to be forest green, but I couldn't find any collars in that color in any of the stores I went to. I ended up picking out the burnt orange one because I liked it better than primary blue or red, and now it's become Sam's color.
Sam's new collar is "large" sized, so it's a little big for him at the moment. But he was already on the long end of the "medium" size, so I didn't see the use of buying it for him to outgrow in two months' time. I'm sure his giant blockhead will be dwarfing his new large collar in due time, as well.
